The Land is Calling

We are spending a portion of the day at the pool. I only wish my honey could be with us. We desperately need to just have some down time. Even though we are completely covered by our Savior, we are tired.

This morning I did all my house chores. So this afternoon we get to spend the day playing. This evening we have Jr. High Youth Group. I already have dinner ready. I made chili, yum, cheap, easy and quick.

I am praying everyone gets to have a blessed day!!

Blessings,

Andrea

Sounds like you've really been on the ball today! I'm glad you're getting some play time! God did design us to need rest didn't he.

Andrea,
I just caught up on your blog...I will be praying for your finances. I will tell you that we have been where you are more than once. I will also tell you that being in TN instead of FL, we have also been incredibly blessed by friends we have made since moving here. Not to knock FL in any way...folks are just different here. A good different.
We have been blessed with a car when friends were getting a newer one..free....this was a great blessing to my Honey as he was driving his 78 Scout...and the brakes were almost gone..no funds to fix them at the time...
We have been remodeling the upstairs of our home...this same friend has come and helped my MIL's fiance (gosh it would be so much easier if they would just go ahead and get married!)....do the work. She has come here every day for the last 6 weeks and worked her heart out.
I want to encourage you to reach out to people. They want to help and they want to bless!
Also, I have been plagued with poison oak. It came from milking our cow...took quite awhile for me to figure out what it was...I haven't ever had a reaction to anything like this! But, I found a product at Wal Mart called Calagel. It is near the calamine lotion and such. It was about $5...comes with another product that is used to wash off the poison oil...the gel is clear so you won't walk around with pink spots all over you. Try it out!!
HTH!!! And keep on keepin' on...brighter days are just ahead!!!

Blessings,
Laurie
