Today on the homefront

Today as the Keeper of my home these are the things I will be doing. I am working on manors with my 5 yr old and also letting my 3 yr old listen in. We have had some issues since we have moved, and I don't like what I am seeing in him. For the first time we live in a neighborhood with lots of boys his age. He has picked up some unbecoming behaviors and I need to nip it in the bud now. I really desire him to be a leader and not learn nasty behavior. So that is one biggie today.

I did some gardening today. I only have tomatoes and flowers. It didn't take long but it was nice being out and my flowers are so beautiful. They really bring me so much joy. To open my windows in the morning and see them just makes me smile.

I am almost done with laundry and I need to do some ironing for my honey. We need to do a general pick up in the house and I am doing some work in my bedroom and bathroom. The kids have already done their bedrooms and bathrooms.

I am really trying to just keep the house picked up so it doesn't get out of control. I know this blesses my honey and really improves my mood throughout the day. I just want to be faithful to my call.

My big kids need to do some math, we are done with the rest of school until next year. I am wanting to finish math this month, so we have a bit of a break. Then we will be glad to start up again, fresh.

We also are going to pick up our car today. Thank you Jesus. It is more than we expected and this has weighed hard on my honey, but I know God is in control. I am blessed no matter what. I also am just in constant prayer today for my honey and that I will be in God's will.

Tonight is our family game night. I am going to do something with chicken for dinner, not sure what yet. My kids and I are going to make chocolate chip cookie bars for dessert after family devotions. I think we might play Scatagories tonight. I love that game. I would like to get Scatagories JR for the kiddos.

I think that is pretty much it for the day.
