The Land is Calling

Wow

I just got a call from my honey. His boss and him talked and his boss said that we could move to TN tomorrow. The cool thing is his pay does not change and he can keep all his FL business also. This means that work continues and we don't go through a time where we don't get paid, Praise The Lord. He said he would set up the office there and the computer and phone, so we will have noout of pocket expense. My honey is really excited about this and his boss seems to be also.

I have such a thankful heart. This is really a dream of our families. We always loved TN and thought about moving there, but really there was no reason. It is crazy how God works things out. We couldn't sell our home in Indiana, we were stuck with my parents and not understanding why God wouldn't let us move. Now I see He had a much bigger plan and wasn't just going to give us a home here in FL, but a homestead in TN. He was giving us the desires of our hearts!!! Thank you Jesus for not letting us buy here in FL.

So now we will have to talk with my parents. Pray that the Lord will guard mom's heart and that she won't feel abandoned. They have done so much in letting us stay with them during this transition. I want to let them know how thankful I am. Also I want them to know how excited we are about this move.

It is also a scary move. We don't know ANYBODY there. This will be the first time we live away from any extended family. I think we will be fine, it is just that we have never had that. I know God has all good things, so I am praying for kindred spirits for me and my honey. He has had no friends here in FL and that has been hard on him.

I was so excited, when I typed this, it might sound a bit rambling, but I wanted to share right away. Please keep us in prayer that all our decisions are in line with the Lords.

Dont' worry about not knowing anyone in TN--half the state is on HomeschoolBlogger.com or HomesteadBlogger.com....

You'll have more friends than you know what to do with!!

Andrea - what an awesome God we serve!! This is such inspiration to me - I am wanting to be able to move to a small homestead and I know God will have to orchestrate it - and I know He will in His time - not mine - that's has always been the hardest part for me - the waiting!! Congratulations!! Keep us posted on the progress!

Isn't God wonderful? He always blesses us more than we can imagine! I pray that your parents will have understanding hearts and that the Lord will comfort them during this time of transition. I know you'll love your TN homestead! Congratulations and God Bless!
