I broke my toe

While I was cleaning, feverishly I may add, I hit my toe on the coffee table so hard it made a noise no toe should ever make. It was the noise that made me double over and grab my foot. Then the pain came. Now, I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this thing really hurts. How can 1 toe hurt so bad.

It is definitely broken. It is also a lovely shade of purpleish, blue. Part of my foot under my toe is also bruised. The whole side of my foot is hurting right along with my little precious toe.

So anyway, I hobbled around yesterday. It hasn't kept me down, but it sure does hurt. I have the last 3 toes all taped up together. I don't think there is anything else I can do for them.

What else did we do yesterday. I took the kids to the pool. They had so much fun. We were only there for alittle over 2 hrs, but my kids all got alot of sun. My poor little 5 yr old got a bad sunburn on his shoulders and back. I even had him slathered in SPF 36. He is the only one of my kids that burns. I feel so bad for him. He has my honeys skin, they burn first then tan.

What is on the agenda for today.

The kids need to do some LA and math

I need to finish laundry, mop the wood floors,

straighten in my bedroom

clean out my car and vaccum it out

Pack for our weekend trip, we leave tomorrow.

I will probablly find more than that need doing, but that is all that comes to mind.

So sorry you broke your toe! I've done it before too. I was probably cleaning, but kicked the wooden leg of the couch, felt pain, looked down, and my pinky toe was sticking out sidways at a complete right angle!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! I honestly thought I was about to faint when I saw it. Well, I obviously had to go to a doctor and get a shot in my foot then have it put back in place. Well, I know this must not be making you feel one bit better!!! SORRY! I hope it heals fast. We take out toes for granted don't we...?

So sorry to hear about your toe! I am embarrassed to say how many times I've broken one certain toe by stumping it on furniture! Hope it feels better soon! -Natalie
