The Land is Calling

Perspective

I feel like I have a new perspective today. God has been working on me. What is really important. Is it stuff? No! It is my family, not my home, not even all of the bills and stuff that adds stress is really important. God will take care of all of that stuff as long as we are seeking Him.

This week I have heard of 3 people that have died. A 37 yr old mother of 2 young children died of a heart attack. A 29 yr old single mother of a 10 yr old daughter died of heart problems. A 55 yr old mother and grammy died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack last night. These women where seemingly healthy when tragedy struck, unexpectedly. All of the stress in life slide away when what is important comes into view. I don't want to be another young woman who dies unexpectedly. I want to be healthy for my family and I want my family to know they are loved.

What do I want to leave on this earth. A Godly heritage. I don't want to just leave a well decorated house or a nice car. I want to leave a daughter and 3 sons who love the Lord and serve Him with their hearts. I want to leave grandchildren that carry on that heritage. I would like to leave people whose lives have been touched by a Godly example from me, people that have met the Lord through me. I would like to adopt more children into our Godly heritage. I would like to leave a MARK.

I totally agree and deeply desire to curb my stress. I pray that God would give me the gift of at least 4 generations of my family all being Christians and marrying Christians. The thought of partying together in heaven with my children's grandchildren is a wonderful treasure that I'd like to store!
