The Land is Calling

Just some thoughts

I have had 2 of my dear, precious friends have miscarriages this week.  Both of them were pregnant with their first children. It has been heartbreaking to listen to them grieve. I have had 2 miscarriages and one was my very first pregnancy also. So I understand that fear that you might NEVER be able to have kids.

I actually think it is not so uncommon to lose your first baby, I know alot of people that have. We got prego again the next month, so I am thankful that I have my little girl now. I wouldn't have had her or my Gabe if the other pregnancies would have gone to term.

It is so sad when you are going through it though. Both of them hurt so deeply.

On a lighter note. We are having the weirdest weather. Bad storms and lots of lightning, I hope no tornados. Then it will be sunny, then storm. It has been low 90 degrees then next week it will go into the 60's. Very yucky. I am just hopeing that Saturday will good because it is my birthday, and I am nutty about my bday. Wish me luck!

I too miscarried my first baby and it was 8 agonizing months before I got pregnant again. I cried every month. No one I knew had miscarried and it was hard grieving and understanding that it wasn't anything that I had done that caused my baby to die. I then decided to use my pain to God's blessing and am very *outspoken* about the miscarriage so that others know they are not alone. When I started speaking openly and quite honestly about my pain and grief then others "came out of the woodwork" and began sharing too. God comforts us in order to teach us how to comfort others- He is so good. I have 3 blessings here @ home- DS2 being God's plan not mine! :o) A beautiful surprise and gift from my God.
I will be in prayer for your friends and I will pray for you also that you would be able to give them comfort and peace.
