The Land is Calling

My birthday

I don't know how everyone else is about their birthday, but I love mine. I count it down months in advance. Now we only have 3 days left. The other thing is my bday is on the weekend, which always makes it fun.

So here we are in a new town and I don't really know what to do for my birthday. My honey keeps asking me what I want to do. I really just want to be pampered and loved on all day, isn't that what everyone wants for a day.

I am hopeing to go and get some flowers to plant around the front of the house. I really don't know what else to do except go out to dinner??? I am at a lose. Any good ideas?  I always have wonderful ideas for everyone elses bday's.

Now on the homefront for today. We are finishing up school, it has been really going so well. I am DONE with laundry for today, yippee!!! I am going to work on my bedroom. I want it to be a haven. I also have put in place a chore list for each child. They always have done chores but it kind of got pushed aside with moving. It is now up and running and helps me alot.

So that is it for today!

I am just like you! I start counting mine down the first of the year...start talking about it too! (Mine's March 5) And you are so right!! Nothing like the excitement of one falling on the weekend!!! : o D
Since mine is a spring-time Birthday, I almost always want my gift to be anything that goes towards landscaping. This year I got a truck load of red colored pine bark mulch to cover my front flower beds. And I got a couple of shrubs and a outdoor water fountain! And always a Birthday dinner! Have a great time this weekend on your special day!!!!!

I LOVE my birthday! Mine is in September and I am already looking forward to it. It is crazy to look that far ahead! I like to go antique shopping in Franklin. So, that would be my suggestion!~Shaundra
