The Land is Calling

Almost Easter

I am trying a new size in my letters, I hope I can see this one better. We will see how it works.

Alrighty, it is almost Easter. We have been talking everyday about what Jesus and His disciples where doing each day leading up to His death and resurrection. It has been very interesting and a great learning experience for both the kids and mom and dad.

We have Good Friday service tonight. I am looking forward to it. This is the first holiday at our new church.

This also is the first holiday away from any family or friends. We don't have anything planned. It will be different but I am praying that we will be blessed as a family and make some new traditions.

In being the best keeper of my home that I can be. I have worked this week on keeping the living room clean, keeping the kitchen clean always. My missions this week were to keep the bathrooms clean.  I wiped them all down and cleaned tubs. It wasn't really that hard if I just kept up on it. I didn't do it all at one time and kill myself. I feel like my home looks really good and at any moment I could have someone come in and I wouldn't feel embarrassed.

I still need to work on ironing. It would really bless my honey if I ironed some of his clothes. I so hate ironing, it would really bless me if I could send them to the dry cleaners.

I really think it would be worth the money!!! You know when I start ironing it isn't so bad, it is the building up to it, that gets me.

I am also trying to get back on track with my eating. I had lost 50lbs last year and looked really good, I felt really good. I then gained back almost 20lbs, UGH!!! I guess from the holidays, then our quick move, stress and just not paying attention I packed it on. Now that I am moved and things are calmer I am going to get back on the horse. I need to just pay attention to what I put in my mouth again. And  how much I put in it.

So that is it in a nut shell for today. My honey is coming home @ lunch today and we are going to go look at some property. We may even go into Nashville and drive around.
