Thank you Toni
Many of you here may not know my friend Toni personally, but I wanted to come and post a special thank you to her.
Yesterday as I was waiting in the hospital to come home, my doe Magnolia couldn't wait for me any longer. My son Wes was here to witness the birth of two healthy buck kids and as Mark says the judgement call was my own , so I called Toni just incase something went wrong in her birthing the kids she was to have. Our friendship began years ago when she wrote me to ask about Mini Nubians and Sept 2006 she boarded my trio of them that came from OK untill we got moved up here to Red Creek and settled in our new home. Toni lives only about 7 miles from me via the backroads and I am and will be so thankful that the Lord brought her into my life. She is truely only a phone call away and comes and does things most folks wouldnt do. She has fed my goats and checked on them many times and she comes if I need her help with things. She does a good job at disbudding kids, birthing kids and she is truely a real and wonderful friend. We both love
our goats and our children. We both seem to have a like for fun things like antiquing and auctions, finding treasures to use and have in the home. We both like Country Things. We at times can talk for hours on any of the above subjects...If we only had time to talk more often. We come to see each others kids when born and talk about their care.
She was so sweet to gift me last year with a DeVal Milk Pail that hooks up to a milking machine, someday I may have the machine to use it with, but it sits in my diningroom reminding me of things past and things to come. I went to an auction last year and bought her 6 runner ducklings, knowing she was looking for them, she recently started getting her first eggs from them. She traded me Red Hens for them and they are all laying also. Having Country Folks you can count on in time of need is a great thing.
So, Toni, thank you for always being there and always just a phone call away. That doe being saved means so much to me and without you here to pull her since she was breech, she may have been lost. Toni has Nubians with some really impressive Milk lines. She also has a Mini Nubian doe. She loves her nubians a bit more now then the mini's but I guess I just like my Nubians on the tiny side. They are both wonderful milk goats. I hope that each of you has a Toni you can call on , in your lives...
I am blessed to be able to call Toni, friend.
Blessings and much love

27 weeks and counting... 13 to go !
Time just is flying by with this pregnancy, seems only yesterday that I found out we were exspecting and now
here it is 13 weeks away till Daniel is born. Each Day is a blessing and each kick and movement is a joy to me.
So far I have gained 10 lbs. I was 256 and am still only 253, so I feel good that I lost some before gaining any.
If Daniel is anything like his big sisters he will be 9 lbs or bigger, Faith was 8.15 1/2 and Hope was 9.8 1/2.
My blood pressure has been wonderful and I had my glucose tollerance test done last week, so all is well
thus far and we are thankful for our new son to be born January 28th 2008.
Blessings

Abeka 8th grade Science or BJU Earth Science 8th grade books needed.
Does anyone have Abeka 8th grade Matter and Motion Teachers Key and Test/quiz Booklet and answer key.
or BJU Earth Science Test book and answer key ? I am in need of one or the other to use with Michael
this year. WE are doing BJU Earth Science but he is finding it harder to do and unless I can find the test book
will need to make up my own tests, which seems like alot of work to do. I am also in need of BJU English 8 test
book and key. These are all older editions 1984 or so I think. I have the teachers editions that show me how to
use them, just need the above things for this year.
If you do please let me know as I cannot afford to buy them and am willing to even borrow them. I have a copier so wouldnt have to write in anything.

All my children are homeschooled....
As of this year Michael my 14 year old decided he would rather be homeschooled then attend the local public school.
The Lord is truely blessing me in so many ways and I am thankful for this wonderful blessing after two years of Michael being so set on not being homeschooled, now he wants to be.

New Things Coming to My Blog in the near future...Lordwilling!!!!
Well it is true that I closed my Yahoo group, I did so to have more time on Home Things and Also
to be able to Blog moreso , so share with everyone things of Home, Hearth and Heart that are near and
dear to me. I am hoping to be adding more recipies, ideas and Lovely Things here for everyone to glean from.
I am 20 weeks pregnant as of Tomorrow... This is a precious thing to me with having lost 3 babies before this
baby was concieved and after having my youngest who is turning 4 in October. Each movement and moment is
a blessing to me. This weekend my oldest son is home , he is 18, he has been such a blessing to me and helps
with the girls and just our talks have been a blessing and encouragement. Surely the Lord knew I needed to hear
the precious words of a repentant heart and loving attitude from him. God is so good...smile

Non-Toxic and Biodegradable

What if you could clean your home without chemicals ?
Do most cleaners make you sick or make you breathe funny ?
Do you want to spare your children of toxins being used arround them ?
Well So Did I ...
It seems that the older I get the more chemically sensitive I become. I have been on a search
for something to clean my home with that would not make us sick in the process. I have asthma
that is stress and excersize induced. My DH has asthma and allergies that can be deadly. My son
has allergies also to things inside and out. I do not want to use chemical cleaners near my 3 and 4
year olds.
Many years ago my Dad introduced me to Products that I used but then quit using
Don't ask me why... I just did. Well today I am using them again. I have a Cleaner
I use called Basic H and another called Basic G, both are Shaklee products that are non
toxic and they are not so overpowering in smell that they bowl me over , like others that were
chemically based.
We use Basic H for the following:
Cleaning windows and mirrors
Cleaning Appliances, counters and floors
Cleaning Feeding dishes I use for my Goats
Cleaning Stalls ( it detours flies)
Well cleaning just about anything, we even know others who bathe in it.
We use Basic G for the following:
Cleaning up Big Messes: Dog Mess, Vomit ect
Cleaning our bathroom
Cleaning Stalls
Well in finding these things again to use, I also found the following I use and love.
Liquid L
Fabric Soft
Soft Dryer Sheets
Laundry Boost
All these products leave my wash fresh, clean and smelling wonderful and there is no static
from the dryer.
I use Dish Wash Concentrate for washing dishes, dishwasher concentrate for the dishwasher.
The price and the quality are so wonderful and money saving.
I cannot tell you what it feels like to have a clean home again that doesnt make me sick
or make my family sick.
Ask me how you can get a free membership in Shaklee for a year... Good till May 31st,2007
Love and Blessings

~ Counting The Blessings ~
I cannot begin to tell you what a blessing it is to have such wonderful women on my group.... The Lord has sent us ladies who are able to bless and help eachother in so many ways. The Lord is meeting the needs with those who understand eachothers lives and needs and are able to be such a blessing to eachother. He also is seeing that each one sent to the group finds true friends to share life with. The group is full of so much love and caring it has touched me greatly. I would love to see more ladies come share on the following things.... gardening, herbs, raising chickens, goats, sheep, and all the aspects of homesteading things. We have some who are well versed in farmers marketing, the role of a pastors wife's ministry, spinning to make clothing and in sewing clothing and so many things it is totally awesome to hear how to do such things. Anytime we can learn things that add to our Home Life it is a true and wonderful blessing.
Won't you consider coming to join us and share your talents as the Lord so leads you... ?
