Keepers At Home Magazine ( Amish ) Sugarcreek Ohio : For Sale
I have the following issues for sale at $4.00 per issue, does not include shipping. I am selling these issues that I believe date back to the start of Keepers At Home Mag. I would like to copy some info from them for my own use before mailing them out to whomever buys them. This price will stay in effect until the end of this month, at that time I will be raising the prices on them to $5.00 dollars per issue for in March as they are collectors editions of the Magazine. I have seen them sell for as much as $9.00 each on ebay. Anyone wishing to get them as a set may email me requesting a special price for all of them. They are a great resource to the Keeper at Home. I am just making room for things I truely want to get now that are new for us and need to sell something to do that, so this is your chance.

Thank you Toni
Many of you here may not know my friend Toni personally, but I wanted to come and post a special thank you to her.
Yesterday as I was waiting in the hospital to come home, my doe Magnolia couldn't wait for me any longer. My son Wes was here to witness the birth of two healthy buck kids and as Mark says the judgement call was my own , so I called Toni just incase something went wrong in her birthing the kids she was to have. Our friendship began years ago when she wrote me to ask about Mini Nubians and Sept 2006 she boarded my trio of them that came from OK untill we got moved up here to Red Creek and settled in our new home. Toni lives only about 7 miles from me via the backroads and I am and will be so thankful that the Lord brought her into my life. She is truely only a phone call away and comes and does things most folks wouldnt do. She has fed my goats and checked on them many times and she comes if I need her help with things. She does a good job at disbudding kids, birthing kids and she is truely a real and wonderful friend. We both love
our goats and our children. We both seem to have a like for fun things like antiquing and auctions, finding treasures to use and have in the home. We both like Country Things. We at times can talk for hours on any of the above subjects...If we only had time to talk more often. We come to see each others kids when born and talk about their care.
She was so sweet to gift me last year with a DeVal Milk Pail that hooks up to a milking machine, someday I may have the machine to use it with, but it sits in my diningroom reminding me of things past and things to come. I went to an auction last year and bought her 6 runner ducklings, knowing she was looking for them, she recently started getting her first eggs from them. She traded me Red Hens for them and they are all laying also. Having Country Folks you can count on in time of need is a great thing.
So, Toni, thank you for always being there and always just a phone call away. That doe being saved means so much to me and without you here to pull her since she was breech, she may have been lost. Toni has Nubians with some really impressive Milk lines. She also has a Mini Nubian doe. She loves her nubians a bit more now then the mini's but I guess I just like my Nubians on the tiny side. They are both wonderful milk goats. I hope that each of you has a Toni you can call on , in your lives...
I am blessed to be able to call Toni, friend.
Blessings and much love

27 weeks and counting... 13 to go !
Time just is flying by with this pregnancy, seems only yesterday that I found out we were exspecting and now
here it is 13 weeks away till Daniel is born. Each Day is a blessing and each kick and movement is a joy to me.
So far I have gained 10 lbs. I was 256 and am still only 253, so I feel good that I lost some before gaining any.
If Daniel is anything like his big sisters he will be 9 lbs or bigger, Faith was 8.15 1/2 and Hope was 9.8 1/2.
My blood pressure has been wonderful and I had my glucose tollerance test done last week, so all is well
thus far and we are thankful for our new son to be born January 28th 2008.
Blessings
