I saw the girls this morning - they seem to be getting everything
they need as far as making a new and comfortable home. As I said,
they are going to be living in someone's home that was sitting empty
and for sale. I don't know how long they will be there, probably at
least a year (or unless the house sells and they have to vacate
earlier). The homeowner went over yesterday and put air mattresses
up, got the utilities turned on, put up their stockings (these
managed to get thrown out on to the lawn during the fire), and
bought linens for them and even washed them all!
The girls went to WalMart last night and bought the toiletries that
they needed. Betsy is just keeping all the receipts for the
insurance. There is a refrigerator coming, a washer and a dryer,
and I don't know what else. I will be speaking to her today about
her school room needs, and anything else they may need.
I know the prayers are helping to comfort the family - so please
keep them coming - I'm printing all of the messages out for her :)
