But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
The Lord did so much for us and sacrificed His life so that we could have eternal life. Jesus went through all of this and was beaten and whipped. I don't know about you, but I couldn't live through a beating like this for anyone. We need to be thankful for what He has done for us. None of us deserved it, but He did it for us anyway! Because He loves us so much!
Dear Lord,
Thank You for dying for us and for helping us to be strong and courageous Christians. I pray that You will help us to live for You.
