Cherry Pecan Biscuits in a Bag
3 cups Self-Rising Flour
1 cup quick or old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup sweetened dried cherries
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Layer White Lily Self-Rising Flour, oats, sugar, cherries and pecans
Into cellophane bag. Tie securely with twist tie; decorate as desired.
Gift Tag: Empty contents in medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup milk or
Buttermilk and 1/2 cup melted butter until dough forms. Drop spoonfuls
Onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with additional
Granulated or coarse sugar, if desired. Bake at 400-425 degrees for 10
to 12
Minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
