I do believe it is safe to say the drought is over!!  We got almost 2 inches on Sat.  It started again just after midnight and is still going here at 3:30 pm.  it is supposed to rain all night tonight also!!  We live down in a valley about a 1/2 mile from the lake.  There is only two roads out of the valley to the highway.  This morning both of them are flooded out in several places.  We did not get to attend church this morning.  My husband had to go to work, I have not heard from him, but I guess he made it through somehow.  We need rain, well, we got it!!  Now we need sunshine so i can get back into my garden.  I got soaked feeding the animals this morning, ( couldn't find my umbrella)  It may sound like I am complaining, but i am not!!  I am grateful for the rain.  Last summer was so dry the hay fields only made one cutting.  A round bale usually cost $25.. But this winter it cost $90. Rain is good!
