Corn Relish
From:Recipe of Mae S. Clark
12 ears corn
1-gallon ripe tomatoes
1/2 gallon green tomatoes
1 large cabbage head
1 dozen onions
3 pints vinegar
1 pint water
2 Tablespoons salt, heaped
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1 1/2 cups sugar
You may add 6 green peppers and 6 red peppers if desired.
Cook 40 minutes slow and can . ( I suggest a pressure canner for this one. Grandma Rosie) |
