Grilled Burgers With Herbs
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground round or sirloin
4 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
2 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
2 tablespoon chives, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat grill for medium-high heat. In a large mixing bowl,
combine meat, herbs, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, lemon
juice, salt, and pepper until well mixed. Split mixture into
eight equal portions. Shape into patties about 5-6 inches
round. Place patties on grill grate and cook 8-10 minutes
on each side or until done as you desire. Serve on buns. |
