If you were raised in the south, you have eaten pinto Beans fixed every way possible!! Never meet a pinto bean I did not like.  This came from a friend in Arkansas.

Pinto Bean Patties

Kenny's aunt showed me how to make these. I don't have exact measurements....I just eyeball it, :)

Ingredients:

Pinto Beans

Pinto Bean juice

Flour

1Egg

salt and pepper to taste

I also add chopped onion to it sometimes.

Directions:

Mash pinto beans, add egg, salt and pepper. Then add enough flour that it is pasty. Add enough pinto bean juice to make it the consistancy of pancake batter. Fry in oil in a skillet.
