Sure has been raining here. Lots of flooding and damage. So far we are staying out of the flood waters. Not much sunshine, but the garden is doing well in spite of it.

Carol, we have gone 2 full days without rain. That is a real blessing! So much of Hood County is under water. My yard looks good, I have great drainage and live on a hill far enough from the lake I am not worried about flood waters. But the ground is so staurated when it does rain I have to use a push broom to keep it from coming in my back door!

I love to garden, we have a small garden for vegetables and herbs. A small orchard for growing our own fruit .
I recently retired and am very involved in homeschooling my six grandchildren.
