• Tue 5 Jun 2007 - What is your favorite herb?

I always say my favorite is Lemon Verbena. I do love it like crazy. But then summer comes and I smell the Basil floating on the breeze. I have mints for my tea, fresh herbs to cook with, medicinal herbs to play with, so, I am not sure of anything but this.

I LOVE HERBS!

I love basils. All kinds. I love pesto, basil and tomatoes, just the smell of basil. Oh and the smell of rosemary, lemon balm is good too, wait..there's anise hyssop-it makes a great tea, but the best for smelling is....PATCHOULI. Citronella, lavender......

Yep, looks like we are in the same boat, can't pick just one favorite!

Hi Grandma Rosie, YOu have a new blog look (Okay so maybe I have just been bad about visiting :) ).

MY favorite herb to cook with and for medicinal purposes is garlic.

My favorite herb as a plant is lavender.

I have lots of both of those. They are great! I have got where I change my "look" everymonth. It has been awhile! But with so many wonderful blogs it is hard to visit everyone.

That's a hard one! I love Lemon Verbena, too...well, all lemon scented herbs actually :) . Lavender is another favorite, Rosemary, Thyme....
Oh, I also have the most wonderful smelling Marjoram this year. It is almost perfumelike MMmmm!
Herbs are wonderful, the LORD did a fabulous thing when He created all those lovely herbs for us to enjoy.

My grandchildren are in love with herbs to. I started them out young. I have had to be sure I don't plant anything poisonous in my yard. They taste of everything!
