Today DH and I painted one side of the garden shed and put the fence in place for my bee yard. It is a 10x10 ft chain link dog kennel I got from my son-in-law. We planted vines to grow up over it to shield the bees from the people and the people from the bees. I am very pleased with the way it is shaping up. I still have to remodel the inside of the 14x24 ft building. But when I am done I can not only use it for a potting/garden shed , but I can watch my bees from the window. When I am working the bees the grandkids can watch me from inside and be out of harms way, but still learn about bees. Life is good!
