Make Honeybee Sugar Candy

Add 12 pounds of sugar to a quart of boiling water. Stir well and let
simmer for 15 minutes. Add a little canning salt and a teaspoon of
cream of tartar. Let it partially cool, then stir vigorously and pour
into dishes. After the candy is set, a dish of it may be put upside
down over the hive frames holding the cluster to feed them.
