My step-mom called me today. She had a wonderfully strange event to share.  She had gone to the Dr this morning. But before she could see the Dr. she was sent to the business office.

Daddy and Lou live on his SS and her disability check. Dad is 76 and Lou is very ill. They are on a very tight budget just to make ends meet.

She recently had surgery and could not pay her co-pay. The Dr said she could pay him $5 a month. That is what she has been doing.

When she got to the business office she was hassled by the lady there who was not satisfied with the Dr's arrangement. Lou was very upset as she is doing the best she can and the Dr is trying to help. It made her cry and that humiliated her. The lady took her $5 and she went back to the Dr's office.

Once there she could not stop crying and called my sister ( her daughter) in Missouri to talk o her. Laurie told her after she saw the Dr to go back to the office and find out exactly how much she owned.

After seeing her Dr she went back to the business office. Th lady told her just after she had left a women came in and said, "My name is Pam and i am here to pay Lou Thompson's bill. The lady paid the bill totaling $1,200.00 and paid with cash, leaving no other information except her first name.  Lou was stunned, no one had heard her talking to my sister. No one else knew about the bill. She doesn't know anyone named Pam.

Just one of those "God", things!!
