My last living grandparent, my step-grandpa, Jeff Harvick, is dying with cancer. He is 86 years young. Full of love and laughter. But the Lord is calling him home. please prayer for him.

This old cowboy fought in WWII as a young man. He was in the Philippines. He has had his own business most of his adult life. He has done a bit of everything. Drove a truck, broke horses, cut and hauled cedar, sold lumber and in his retirement sold fresh produce. I have a beautiful cedar arbor in my back yard. Pa cut the post and hauled them out of the cedar break for me when he was in his late 70's. The corner post ( 4 of them) are all 10ft long. I always think of him working away in the Texas heat to cut and bring me those poles.
About three years ago he had a wreck and was thrown from his truck. He landed in a cedar tree, broke his back and his neck. It was a long hard recovery, but he is so strong. He came through it all.
I know God is calling him home and he wants to go. But cancer is such a hard way to die. Please pray for his peace and strength. |

Thanks, I will be going to see Pa this afternoon. I hope I can bear up under it and be strong for him.
