Here some tips for great grilled burgers:
- Season your burgers before cooking, but don't just sprinkle; gently work the seasonings throughout the meat.
- To keep the patties from sticking to the grill, rub oil on the hot grate just before placing the burgers on it.
- To keep the patties juicy and moist, don't press down on them as they cook.
- Iceberg lettuce is a traditional favorite, but other lettuces can give your burgers a different character. Try arugula or watercress for a peppery snap.
