my cousin is a DAR - and I could be too if I filled out the paperwork. I do not know more than what she said to my aunt "its a bunch of older ladies who don't have anything wlse to do - I can't spend that much time on stuff!" (she has 4 kids)
Hmm, I guess all groups differ in some way. Our local UDC is involved in a number of charities and other worthwhile things. They are also involved in Historical Education. Being a teacher I love that idea.

My Family is the greatest gift God has given me, second only to the Salvation provided me by Jesus Christ, God's son.
I love to garden, we have a small garden for vegetables and herbs. A small orchard for growing our own fruit .
I recently retired and am very involved in homeschooling my six grandchildren.
