American Beef Sausage
You can use prepackaged ground beef in the recipe. After the sausage
has been mixed thoroughly, divide into 1 pound packages and store in
freezer.
5 lbs medium ground beef chuck
2 tsp white pepper
2 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tsp sage
2 Tbsp sugar
4 cloves pressed garlic
2 Tbsp salt
1 C cold water
Combine all ingredients, mix well and stuff into sheep casing. To
cook, bake, broil or fry.
