We grow a lot of pecans here in Granbury.  Soon it will be time to harvest them. Lots of work but well worth it.

Pecan Butter Balls

Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar
ground pecans
confectionery sugar

Directions

Mix first six ingredients, roll into balls.  Bake at 325 degrees
F for 25 minutes.  Roll in confectionery sugar.
