I can almost the energy drain from me only a few hours after I get up in the mornings. My poor rabbits are suffering terribly from the heat.  In the afternoon the water in the water bottles gets to hot to drink.  I have to put in fresh several times a day.  I also mist the bunnies down to help cool them off. They are getting a bit of gatorade in the water to help keep them from dehydration.  my poor garden is sadly neglected.  I cannot get out in this brutal heat to tend it.

I have had a case of heat exhaustion and once had a heat stroke.  Now I am overly sensitive to the heat.  I think my thermostat is broken!  They low today was 90 and the high 100.  That is much better than it has been for the past few weeks.  I pray the Lord sends us rain soon. 

 We have been so dry for so long.  The tanks and ponds are drying up and we only got one cutting of hay this year and last year.  To dry for more.  Ranchers are selling off their herds because they cannot feed them with the hay and grain prices so high.  Many are hauling water in by truck to water their herds.  The wheat crop has failed as well as the corn crop.  No rain.  Milo is only producing about half as much as it should.  This should start to affect the prices in the groceries soon, that along with the fuel prices. i know this same problem is affecting our nation as a whole.  I wonder where we are headed with all this?
