It was 96 today.  So I guess I might as well face it, Texas Summer is here.  I suffer from the heat.  Cold does not bother me, but heat, that is different.

The rain has stopped.  We will be very lucky to get anymore before September.  Maybe a shower here and there.  I will be hiding out from the sun, going nocturnal to survive.  I have already been having to water the garden. Can't let up there.  Easy street is over and the long haul begins.  I think I will go live with someone in a cooler climate in July.  Anybody got an invite for me!! 

I promise to be good and I don't eat much!  Of course I HAVE to bring my 4 bunnies, they need me.  Lets not forget my 2 large labs and one huge Manx cat.  Then there is my baby kitty who I am getting in July.  He will be 8 weeks old.

Did I mention I have 7 grand children I spent every moment I can with??

Hmmm, maybe I better stay home.  You think???
