I love to garden, we have a small garden for vegetables and herbs. A small orchard for growing our own fruit .
I recently retired and am very involved in homeschooling my six grandchildren.

I had made one from cardboard (I think I painted it black, if memory serves) and screen when I was a young child. I also lived in a state where bugs were not as much of an issue and I was able to put the dehydrator on a screened porch (plenty of sun--no bugs). But, we're in bug country now and I was pretty sure if I attempted that same thing today I'd have, at a minimum, fly problems, not to mention roaches, snails and whatever else (I don't want to know about) crawls this way. I appreciate the information and will think about a design that would be appropriate given the pictures I just saw on the subject.
