~ Thankful Thursdays ~

God has been so good to me and my family.  We have been having problems with some tires on our car going flat.  We had one tire that went flat on us.  My FIL and hubby used some fix-a-flat and put some air in it and it seemed to work for awhile.  Then one night the tire went flat again while my hubby was driving.  He got the spare put on.  We had a regular tire for a spare.  It was such a blessing to have a regular sized tire for a spare.  But then we started having problems with that tire going flat.  Then another tire was losing air.  We haven't had the money to go buy new tires.  The other day, our spare tire went flat and it was going to have to be replaced as well as the other tire that was losing air.  We didn't know where we were going to get the money to buy tires for the car.  Well, the morning I went in for my amniocentisis, we had to use my MIL's car.  While we were at the hospital, my MIL called to tell us that the minister's wife at her church wanted them to take our car to a place in town and have them put new tires on the car and have it aligned!  What a blessing!  We now have 4 brand new tires and they did an alignment.  Praise You Father for Your provision.  This same lady also gave us some money and some groceries which was such a sweet thing.  God is so good.

I am also just so thankful for God showering me with His peace.  Wednesday I just felt so at peace with everything.  I know our little baby girl is in God's hands and so am I.  I felt so calm Wednesday.  I even felt calmer at the dr.'s office.  That is such a praise!

I am so thankful for positive changes I'm seeing taking place here at home.  God is answering some prayers and I thank Him for what He's doing in our home.

Also, I'd like to ask any of you who have prayed for me and our baby girl to please go to my homeschool blog (see link below).  I am asking everyone who has prayed for me and our baby to leave a comment telling what state you live in or if you're in a different country, tell what country you live in.  I am compiling a list to put in our baby's baby book as well as my journal to show just how much myself and our baby have been covered in prayer.  You can click on the link below:

Thanks so much for participating!

I enjoyed reading your TT list. I love the different ways God meets our needs!! Last week I took my brother's car in to change the oil and the manager of the oil place got under the car to check everything else and told me he needed new tires ASAP. The front tires had no tread on the inside of the car. I told him I had to pick up my brother from the airport and he told me NOT to get on the interstate. I had no money for new tires but we found a place in town who had 2 used tires that we could buy for 30.00. I was so excited and they put them on for free. God will make a way when there is no other way!!
Blessings,
Patty

~ All About Me ~

I grew up in a ministry family. The daughter of a preacher, I definitely fit the typical mold of a preacher’s kid. I have had many life experiences including being a pregnant teen and single mom, experiencing divorce, and more. All of my life experiences, good and bad, have molded me into the person I am today. I have an intense desire to see women live in the freedom Christ came to give them. I myself know the prison of bondage and the liberation of Christ.
