~ Thankful Thursdays ~

Today, I thought I'd give thanks for some simple things that most would consider small.

*My coffee pot
*A good cup of coffee
*My new washer and dryer (Yay!!!)
*Being able to do laundry at home!
*My bread machine
*Homemade bread
*Our computers
*Our car
*Candles
*All of our furniture
*Cathedral ceiling in the living room

The following are not small things.  In fact, they are huge.  But I have to give thanks:
*God's Word
*Having a loving and merciful Father in Heaven who loves me with unconditional love
*All of my family
*Bible study resources and materials

I love where you live. Living in NYC makes me wish I live near the mountains and countryside.

Congrats on the new washer and dryer. Hopefully one will come my way soon.

I didn't even think to be thankful for Bible study materials, but I am. I am reading the Bible this summer and it helps so much.

great list! Congrats on your new washer and dryer. Laundry day (which for me is daily) is much less of chore w/ my new washer and dryer (they were a gift from my hubby). It's actually quite fun now.

I really love your seemingly small or unimportant thankful list. These things seem small, but they're things we can be hugely grateful for. I really like being able to do laundry at home. What a major blessing because I've been to the laundromat before, and while I didn't despise it, I would really have rather been at home.

Your "big" list is the list we ought to always be grateful for. I enjoyed your post.

Great list! Good coffee, fresh bread, and a washer and dryer! Someday I'll have a washer and dryer, too. I'm glad we have such a nice, clean laundromat to go to. A car is definitely something to be thankful for - I'm thankful for ours, too. We got it for 0% financing.

~ All About Me ~

I grew up in a ministry family. The daughter of a preacher, I definitely fit the typical mold of a preacher’s kid. I have had many life experiences including being a pregnant teen and single mom, experiencing divorce, and more. All of my life experiences, good and bad, have molded me into the person I am today. I have an intense desire to see women live in the freedom Christ came to give them. I myself know the prison of bondage and the liberation of Christ.
