This was a VERY difficult chapter to ponder on and biggest thing is that it really felt to me it also addressed discernment, giving up control to God, that it is not for us to try to play God and at the same time, not for us to try and play God to others.

It's very telling because I had a personal experience where I was asked if we were going to stop where we were and then told that it was enough for me, and I remember thinking...how does this person know? They are not home with me, they don't raise my kids or know my kids, so how are they to decide how many or how little I should have...

Children are a form of stewardship from God and we are entrusted with them and part of that is making the right, carefully guided decisions about them.

I feel that when God knows the time is right for us, He will bless us with a child in the form of our own biological child, adoptive child or even foster child but we have to be careful when we try to be like Sarah and make that call on our own.
