| Hi Amanda! You were just on my heart, so I thought I would stop in for a visit. I hope that everyone is well. I haven't been blogging as much these days. I've been having some health problems and having tests run. I'm just trusting the Lord and trying to keep on keeping on. Spring will be here before we know it and won't we all be busy then! Loved your post... what a blessing you are to your mother! Could she rent you out? ;-)

akk| my mom used cloth dipers for Paige. In my opinion they are gross. lol They always smelled and leaked and Paige could manage to wrigle her way out of them and would leave them around the house. grrr.

Untitled Comment| I don't even recall how I stumbled upon your blog, but when it comes to washing anything white (assuming the diapers are white) I always add a squirt of Liquid Bluing... helps to keep the grayishness (yes, I realize that is not a real word LOL) out of the whites so they don't get that dingy look :-)

Diapers| My mother had all eight of us children in cloth diapers, I do not know how she could stand it. I have used cloth diapers on a little boy that my friend and I babysat several years ago. That was not the high light of the New Years Eve party. (To make it worse the baby was sick, so we spent the evening cleaning up both ends.)
Although, I think if I ever have children I will use cloth diapers. My older sister, Keri, uses disposable diapers and it costs about $25 for a box of 40! Well I did not mean to ramble. Sincerely, ~Mary-Ann~ |

Do you find that the vinegar make them softer? We use cloth wipes, and we do a vinegar rinse. We have found that it makes them so soft.
I found your post very interesting!
