Fall Is Here
Fall is in the air. Not just because last Sunday was the official first day, but because I have noticed all the leaves that have fallen as they fly in the air when I am driving into town, because of all the Canadian Geese that are flying south, because it is really cool, because Estrella and Dulcy are getting their coats in, because they are plowing the fields.
There is a beauty in the fall. There is a refreshing fragrance in the air. it is really neat to see how much the landscape changes in the fall. Of course it changes in any season, but it a very pretty change. It is neat and kinda sad to see the corn gone out of the fields. It is really great to see the leaves change colors on the trees. It is really stinking to smell the pig fertilizer that they spray on the fields and burn out of the pig farm down the road. Man, that is just nasty to smell and I can't help it as I drive by everyday. Eww... I have to roll up the windows and turn off the vent because the smell is so strong. And somehow it still manages to get in the van. It is just disgusting.
Ok... now that I have the gross part out of the way, where was I?? Oh right the beauty of fall... the last part was not about the beauty of fall... lol
I always remember fall is my grandma's favorite season. In a way it is mine too cause my birthday is in fall. I think I like all the season in their own way. I sure wish Grandma could come up here to see all the lovely changes.
My arm is getting better. There is still a pain in it tho if I hit it on something. It isn't the bruise that hurts either. Its the inside of where she bit me and the actual bite mark. It is a really sharp pain too and it is very weird to describe. But thankfully it is healing and should be gone soon. I will have a scar there tho. Oh well. I was just telling Mom that I have gotten more scars this summer than I think I have in a long time. And I didn't even do very much this summer to get scars. One of them was a mosquito bite that I scraped, one of the others was when I was going down to the barn when it was raining and I slid in the mud and clipped my leg on a bike. There was only one scrape from that, but because I put a band-aid on it, the band-aid made a sore and so I have 2 matching lines of scars on my leg. ugh. My legs don't look too pretty. lol
What else... I posted some other things that have happened this week over at The Daily Planet.
Hope you are having a great start of the fall season. Happy Fall!!
As Always,
!! !!

Grown, strong men have had their bicept muscle completely torn away by mean, biting horses. Horses are strong.
Please be careful . . . .
