An Easy Meal Planner
I am usually the one who picks out the menus and grocery lists that we have typed up and ready to use. We have 4 different weeks done, so we alternate them. Works out great too. Since we are on a budget we know how much we will need for what week. We usually go with $150 a week for 9 people. We try to stretch as much as we can.
Our grocery lists have all the necessities that we buy every week. We just add extry things that are only for whatever menu that we are using.
So last week, Mom had me make up my own menu planner and grocery list for my menu. I picked some pretty tasty and easy meals we can do.
Most of these meals take us about 45min or so to make. But that is for a family of 9, so a small family would prolly take shorter to make it.
Monday:
Lunch- Cows in a Blanket, Home Fries, Carrot Sticks, Pickles.
Dinner- Flat Tacos, Beans, Spanish Rice.
Tuesday:
Lunch- Leftovers from Monday nite.
Dinner- Hamburgers, French Fries, Carrots, Peas, Zucchini.
Wednesday:
Lunch- Chicken Salad, Pretzels.
Dinner- Chicken and Dumplings, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Peas.
Thursday:
Lunch- Grilled Cheese, Homemade Cream of Chicken.
Dinner- Tuna Patties, Rice, Peas, Carrots.
Friday:
Lunch- Green Pea and Carrot Soup.
Dinner- Fried Chicken Strips, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Carrots, Zucchini.
Saturday:
Lunch- Chips and Salsa.
Dinner- Lasagna, Green Beans, Peas, Zucchini.
Sunday:
Lunch- Chicken and Noodles.
Dinner- Sloppy Joes, Fried Potatoes, Carrots, Peas.
I will have the recipes for this menu planner next time. Enjoy!!
As Always,
