TODAY'S VERSE from HEARTLIGHT   --   http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                         July 24, 2008

VERSE:
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of
this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    -- Romans 7:24-25

http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=Romans+7:24-25&translation=kjv

THOUGHT:
Our bodies are mortal and flawed. They are tainted with our
weakness and sin. But, by the grace of God given us in Jesus
Christ, our future does not rest in the dust with our bodies, but
in the power of our perfecting Lord.

PRAYER:
Almighty God, thank you for giving me life beyond the death of
my mortal flesh. Thank you for giving me holiness beyond my
sin-stained flesh. Thank you for delivering me from death and
bringing me into your glory. Now, dear Father, may my words, deeds,
and thoughts reflect your grace and power in all I do today and
each day that follows. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

You can see some of those answers to your requests TODAY!

Everyone is getting ready for the new school year. Looking at co-ops, sports, classes, and commitees can be a bit overwhelming. I have been grabbing bits and pieces of planners for years. I have never been able to find one that met all of my needs. NOW I have. Available in the Simple Journey Bookstore is Julie Forsythe's NEWEST planner, and it is the BEST YET! The Master Plan is the most consie planner I have ever seen! Some of the best features are that it is a FOUR YEAR planner and that it is digitally interactive. Have you been frustrated with digital items that have glitches? You won't have that issue with this planner. This planner is for EVERYONE, not jsut homeschoolers...that is how much is in this planner!!! Read more about it at Simple Journey Bookstore.

This set is amazing! It includes two bonuses that are normally cost more than the price of the set:

1. Organization 911 Seminar Set (over 24 audio sessions!)
2. Let's Get Organized Seminar Set (Cindy's newest audio set!)

Actually, Cindy told me that she is so excited that she decided to share a sneak peek into some of the goodies included in this set.

Anyway, that brings me to the reason that I am sharing with you...

Cindy just sent me permission to give you a sampler of one of her free gifts that is included on the Download Page. I am so excited to give it to you! It is a audio that she actually sells on her website, but she is giving away as a bonus gift with this set. Here is the link so you can check it out:

Restoring Balance To Completely Overloaded Lives… with Cindy Rushton

Overloaded!  Busy! Hurried! Overworked! Stressed! Rushed! Relate?? This is reality for most in our culture today--EVEN homeschooling families! We exceed our limits. We take on WAY TOO MUCH! We write checks that our body and mind cannot cash!  Everything (and EVERYONE) suffers. It gets harder and harder to hear God as He whispers direction, encouragement, and wisdom along our path. We miss the best! We wonder why we end our days empty and without meaning or accomplishment. We forget what is most important—or at minimum, put it off for another day.  The important seldom screams for attention, but the urgent, often insignificant, constantly screams for MORE and more! We get so busy and distracted doing the urgent and demanding in life that we lose the opportunity to impact the important, that in which we are given to leave a legacy! So, how on earth do we get out of this rat race? How are we to restore balance? If we could restore balance, how could we maintain balance?  How could we make life really count for something?  In this workshop, Cindy shares what the Lord has taught her He pulled me back from so many GOOD things to restore balance and keep me on the path to leaving a legacy! Join Cindy for a workshop that will change your life as it has changed hers!

I want to be a duck

Good Morning!  I was reading soneone's blog about how the birds greet the day.  They are out there right now singing away.  Where did I lose that gratefulness for a new day?  I wake up with all I have to accomplish on my mind.  It is a beautiful day out there.  It will be 75 and sunny today.  I sit here and think, the garden , the lawn, hay needs to be cut, hay elevator needs to be moved, oil needs to be changed, and oh the blueberries that need to be picked.  This is no way to greet the day.

Lord, help me to appreciate all you have given and to have peace that all things will get done.  Give me the assurance that I can do these things with your help and need not worry about them.  Help me to think of others and how You would have me bless them.

My life is good, but  I have become a worrier.  It's been a slow process, but a constant one.  God has never failed me.  Why do I think He will today?Stop worrying. I used to have people get annoyed with me because I didn't worry enough.  They said  everything just seemed to roll off of my back, like water rolls off of a duck.  Now I'm more like a sponge.    I want to be a duck again.

Confidence in The Faithful One

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,

Hebrews 10:23,24 NASB

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
