Hi, my name is Kim Degener, and welcome to my blog, such as it is.  I'm not a html person, so be patient with me as I fiddle around with the formatting.  I'm trying to get a blog going on www.homeschoolblogger.com which, if I can ever log in, I'll link to that, too.  Also,  I'm coordinating www.homeschoolblogger.com/NewYork, so if you are a homeschooler from NY, please email me with any goings on!!!

I'm going to keep this initial entry short so I can work on getting my new blog baby up and running, so hopefully I'll get some info about who I am and what I do up soon.

Where are you in NY? I grew up in the Rochester area. We moved to Illinois and have been homeschooling here for 8 years. I wasn't a homeschooler in NYS, but some of my friends are....I think our two states are at the two extremes in regulations. We have none here!

I'm new at blogging too. HTML code is really an animal to be tamed. I have more than one website in an attempt to conquer the html beast. This is my newer one (homesteader), but I've been on homeschoolblogger for about 6 weeks. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/TRINITYPREPSCHOOL/

I started one for our local homeschool group too at blogspot http://homeschoolnetwork.blogspot.com/

Each one has it's own template "issues".
