I am Woodstock!  And unique is such a nice way of saying I'm a abit strange...lol

Well back with a head cold...again...have a follow-up with the doc Weds anyway, but this probably explains the high white count ~ it must be a virus or bacterial infection of some sort.  Hope to figure it out, I hate to be sick, and I've had about enough of this!

Just got back from the Historical Society meeting ~ getting all the info from the former president.  This new venture is going to be so much fun ~ we have an active society and loads of fun folklore and rich history here in town.  It's nice to be part of that preservation.  Got a copy of the Town's history book ~ there's some reading for me!

I'm reading Walden right now ~ hated the book in high school, the only assigned reading I never completed, so I have decided to trudge through it now.  It's funny, I should love the book, abut heading out to the woods to live simply, but MAN Thoreau gets SOOOOOOO wordy!

I am taking the day off from work tomorrow, going to chaperone Hannah's snowboarding ~ they leave school @ 11:30 to head to Cannon mountain for ski lessons for 6 weeks in the winter, and one week of free ski.  This is free ski week, so I am going to go hang in the lodge and watch her snowboard.  I think I am going to bring my embroidery quilt top to keep me busy, along with maybe my garden planning stuff.  We'll be there for about 4 hours...and I don't ski.

Then tomorrow night is bellydancing, hope I feel a little better for it.  Well I am going to head off for bed, chat tomorrow.

Valarie - hope you are feeling better soon - I am finally getting my back to some normal life.

Woodstock has always been one of my favorite characters! Yu know I have never read "Walden". I do like "MY side of the Mountain" though! :) . I have been thinking about learning belly dancing as a form of excercise...but anybody seeing it (which would hopefully only be my hubby and kids) would start singing "Watch it wiggle, watch it jiggle" like a blow of jellO!
