and lingering ice/snow stuff.  It has started getting warm during the day again.  Yuck!  But the nights are very cold and I've had to set the thermostat to low so that we don't suffocate in the night.  We can't sleep w/the heat on around here and the program feature has become our lifesaver for health wise and financial.  However, the snow/ice is still hanging around and everyone (except me of course) wants it all to go away.   I would like to enjoy it longer but I've been working long days at both jobs.  I'll be working a long day tomorrow, I've managed to get a short day Sat but we have tickets to the dress rehearsal of the Nutcracker" and I'm looking forward to that then I am working a long day on Sunday.  I'm making myself tired thinking about all this work not to mention the work that needs doing around the homestead.  It would be wonderful to get it all done but I must figure out a plan that will not leave me feeling defeated and trying to do too much.   Because that would definitely defeat my idea of a simply holiday season, now wouldn't it?!

Well, I am almost done w/my christmas shopping and I hope to get back to my craft projects.  I still need the jars for the mix but I think I'll be able to take care of that soon.  Hope you all are enjoying your week.
