Okay, this may not seem frugal for some but since I work at BBW and was able to take advantage of the after Thanksgiving day sale, I will be giving away Wallflower diffusers.  They are awesome and truly work.  I've been using one in our livingroom that has filtered the wonderful aroma of fresh linen into the hallway, diningroom, kitchen, hallway as well as the livingroom.  It burns slowly and comes in various fragnances including the signature collection.  You can check them out here.  I got mine for $5.00 a piece during the sale and they will make lovely gifts, I think.  I even purchased the refills for the same price ~ yeah me!  I am still planning to make some homemade gifts for my neighbors and will be primarily giving these away to friends and some co-workers in their favorite scents.

My homemade gift ideas that I am working on:

crocheted socks ~ my first ever

crocheted scarves ~ always a winner w/the kiddos

pancake mix in a jar ~ I will mixing up dry ingredients of our favorite batter into mason jars and decorating w/ribbon and instructions for making.  One of our neighbors children love our pancakes, so this will make a lovely present for them though I may have to make several jars just for them.

homemade cake ~ we did this one year to the joy of several neighbors.  We make our favorite batter, pour into dispose foil pans and decorate.  Yummy!

homemade cookies ~ these will go to my co-workers along w/some Christmas Blend coffee and a Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin wallflower.  We will probably make Triple Chocolate Chip but I'll let you know when we do and share the modified Williams-Sonoma recipe.
