I've had a very tiring day.  I had great plans to enter my crocheted baby afghan in the state fair but it didn't happen.  I was sick most of the day and I've been feeling a bit despondent most of the eveing.  I know there will be another fair but it was the first time I've ever did something like this and I was looking forward to doing it.  The afghan is very beautiful and if I can get the camera to work, I'll post a pic.  It is a gift for a friend's grandbaby too and now they will get it early since I missed the fair's take in day for crafts.  I am still looking forward to spending time looking at the other entries.  The fair begins in two weeks. 

I did do something fun today ~ I spent the morning garage sale shopping w/hubby.   I purchased a new iron, a few prints and he got a few things too.  So, my day wasn't all bad ~ just not what I'd plan.

As I was sitting here pondering how I wanted to continue w/my blogs, I read a dear friend's entry for the day.  I took the time to actually read her entire page and I was inspired, uplifted and now smiling again.  Peggy's blog always has a way of inspiring me and I've missed her lovely emails.  Btw, she is our "Blogger of the Week," so make sure you stop by and say Hi.  I'm sure you will be inspired and uplifted just as I was.

Well, I'm off to read some more, ponder some more and simply be ~ this life of simplicity is really grand and I realize it doesn't take much to get there.  Just a willing heart and ear to hear.
