Morning!

Hope everyone is having a great day! I am trying to get a few chores done, and hope to spend the afternoon working on some new curtains for the kitchen. I found a lovely primitive dark red and beige ginham that will look wonderful as cafe' curtains. I found the material for $2 a yard, and the trim for $1. If I have enough left over, I want to make a small cinched wreath for the center.
I have made no other real plans for today. I think I might spend some time just relaxing for a change!
In the schoolroom, Pumpkin is reading her science for the day. She is planning on being finished by 2 pm, and wants to spend some time visiting her Aunt this afternoon. She has a passel of puppies from her momma dog Sasha, and they need a lot of lovin'! Since our old collie is well beyond puppy baring years, Pumpkin is really enjoying the novelty of the warm and fuzzy puppy hugs and kisses.
It is about 60 degrees here today, so I might take a walk to enjoy the lovely weather. The sun is shining brightly, and I could use a little Vit D boost. Matter-of-fact, that sounds so nice, I think I might hold off on the curtains for the day, and just enjoy the blessed warm weather.
Have a peaceful day, All! Mistypearl

Ohhh...

Your curtains/material sounds awesome!! I am thinking of redoing my kitchen a little bit also. We are going to be getting new linoleum, and I would LOVE a bigger kitchen table. I was thinking hunter green and sunflowers for my 'theme'.. what do you think? ;-) Though I really do adore the gingham you described. I have hunter and beige gingham cafe curtains up now.. lol Funny!! And your aunt, is it?, has a dog named Sasha who has puppies?? Wow.. we have a dog named Sasha we are going to be breeding in the next year or two. *big hugs*
