This effects all of us that have 'critters'

National Animal Identification System

Whether you are a livestock owner or a livestock breeder, the National Animal Identification System will effect you. You need to check out and read about the National Animal Identification System (NAIS). In March or April of 2008 many breed registries that are for the NAIS will start requiring a 15-digit NAIS number in order to register your animals. Make sure that your registry is NOT for the NAIS, or else you will get caught up in the NAIS. In the end if the NAIS passes (hopefully not though), you will be charged a fee when your animal goes off your property, and when it comes back on. If you want to go on a trail ride with your horse, or take your goats packing, or go to a show, or anything in which your animal comes off your property, you will be charged a fee. Plus on top of that you will have to pay to register your animal, even your backyard egg-laying hens!!

PLEASE take a few moments to read up about this bill that will put small-time animal owners and breeders out. PLEASE find out if your registry is for the NAIS or not, and if they are, please do not be a part of them anymore. Animal owners and breeders NEED to take action against this or else all the above will happen to you, whether you think so or not.

If you are a goat breeder or owner, for your information, if you are a member of the American Dairy Goat Association, they are for the NAIS. No good, in our opinion. Because of this, we are withdrawing our membership from the ADGA. If you are against the NAIS, you should transfer your dairy goats and withdraw your membership, or else very soon here you may need to get a 15-digit NAIS number in order to register your animals.

Below are a few links that have information about the NAIS. Stand up for your Freedom today!

Here is how it can affect you and I http://nonais.org/index.php/can-nais-affect-me/

This would also be a good time to mention that of all the Presidential candidates, Ron Paul actively speaks out against NAIS. He is in favor of us keeping our animals and keeping the government out of things like this. You can check him out at www.ronpaul2008.com
