................................................We have 12 new chicks and 7 new ducklings so far...Our mama chicken hen hatched 4 of the ducklings and the 12 chicks(she actually hatched 15 but we lost 3) and finally our duck hen is hatching her ducklings...this morning she has 3 under her and looks like more may hatch...so its been a great year for replenishing around here...

BUT WAIT there is more...

WE GOT OUR LAND! We thought there was only 17 acres but turns our there is actually a bit over 18! We will not be moving over there for a few months... maybe sooner if this house sells.  We will most likely purchase a mobile to put on it...we will pay cash for that....we are so excited!! We we owe everything to God...Finding and getting this land was such a God thing...We have been through so much in past 18 months that I think we were both a bit discouraged ...but you don't stay in those valley's forever even though it seems that way sometimes...the man that owns the land has been so very gracious to work with us and has given us 6 months to come up with the down payment, but in the meantime we can make the monthly payments so we don't lose out on the land...WOW! I am thrilled and so excited...this land is exactly what we are looking for...Lots of room for critters, gardens, berries, hubby to hunt and its about 3 miles from the lake hubby loves to fish! How great is that!?!  We will be working on getting off the grid during this time so that we have no electric bill which will almost cover the land payment...while we are debt free at this point we feel like land is a debt that is a good debt and not something we do not need or will not use...the payment is so low every month it really will not affect us in a bad way...again only God can pull that off! There is alot to do over there as it is mainly woods, but there is a perfect spot for a home and near there stands 2 twin pines...so I am thinking the name of our new homestead will be "Twin Pine Farms" Below are some pics...Originally we found a spot for the home(pictures of it are here somewhere) and we loved it....but, after going back and driving a bit further down the road we found this spot and we both knew immediatly this was the spot...looking on the other side of the road there is a valley and the front of the house would over look the valley...its perfect!

Congratulations....God is so good...you are right, sometimes we are in valley's to teach us patience...but thankful that He never keeps us there.
