Outside my Window... skies are finally clearing from a few days of heavy rains

I am thinking...that I can't wait to use my new Crème brûlée ramekins and blowtorch. I've wanted one of those forever!

I am thankful for...my sweet family and how they honored me this weekend, and that the Lord chose to give me more time with my own mother.

From the kitchen... something that needs carmelizing or "torching" (*wink*)

I am going...to make sure I have a fire extinguisher handy. :-)

I am reading...books to review

I am hoping...that it warms up tomorrow so I can plant some plants that I started a few weeks ago

I am hearing...my youngest son asking if the freezer pops are frozen yet

Around the house...supper is done, dishes are washed, and we're settling in for the evening

Oh great, Amy has a torch now! LOL You are so funny! It's good you are married to a firefighter. How about roasting marshmallows?

I use my egg basket to store potatoes in the corner of the kitchen. I love the rolling pins in the crock!!

Are those your apples in the picture? Are they real apples?

I like wire egg baskets too! I found some small sized coated wire egg baskets at Target. They are just the right size to fit in the fridge. I really like old ones the best though.

Hee he on the torch bussiness. My 1ds wants a torch for the SAME reason. He has been a third man in a kitchen ( in a resturant) and his eyes light up when I told him what you got. lol I will have to get one when he moves out.

Yes, I thought it was funny that a fireman's wife has a torch. lol Have fun and don't gain too much weight from all that creme brule. [0=
