Calling All Farm Girls...

The first week's theme (I'm a little late!) was all about aprons! I adore aprons and have been blessed with a nice collection that's still growing. I wear them all the time! I like to have one for each "mood" I'm in. I have an "everyday" Edwardian apron that I wear when making soap, hanging clothes on the line, and other homekeeping tasks. It's ankle length with pockets and large enough to gather and carry a bounty from the garden back to the house.
I have another that is very pretty, pink and girlie and perfect for when I am in the kitchen and want to feel feminine. (Thanks Keri!)
I only have one apron pictured at present, and this one belonged to my great-grandmother, so it's very special to me. Love the red and white checks!

What a beautiful apron....I would love to have something like that from my great grandmother....I do have a scythe that belonged to my great great grandfather...aren't those kind of things special.
