'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free,
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain'd,
To bow and to bend we shan't be asham'd,
To turn, turn will be our delight
'Till by turning, turning we come round right.

Oreo Truffles
Posted in Harvest Kitchen
This recipe is for the Dixon Family who has found a new diet plan! ;o)
(And don't worry, Jacque, you can use the REAL Oreos for this one!)
This was shared by my friend Charity. I haven't made these yet, but they sound very easy.

Oreo Truffles
34 Oreos crushed
8 ounces softened cream cheese
Almond bark or Chocolate Chips (for melting)
Add softened cream cheese to crushed oreos.
Mix well.
Roll into balls.
Melt chocolate and dip truffles. May sprinkle cookie crumbs on top.
Place on waxed paper to dry or place in refrigerator until set.

You are so sweet!! So funny!!
This is definitely a recipe we will try. I don't know, the mint and the coffee Oreos might work for this one!
I do like the Newman-O's too.
How fun!
