For Today

Outside my Window...let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! A blanket of freshly fallen snow covers everything this morning. It's truly beautiful.

I am thankful that...we're snug and warm here in the woods.

I am creating...a little feeder with my youngest to hang out for the birdies this afternoon. We have been seeing the most beautiful Cardinals and Blue Jays lately!

From the kitchen... cranberry scones and coffee for breakfast (for me), leftovers for lunch, roast with potatoes, carrots and onions for supper, bread baking this afternoon

I am reading...over some lesson plans for the day and book reviews that are due

 

I am hearing...nothing but the tapping of the keyboard! It's very early here on the farm.

I am going...to stay home today and admire the snow from the warmth of indoors. :-)

I am hoping...that the weather will moderate so that we can celebrate the January birthdays for our family members this week.

Loved your daybook. I agree hoping for great weather, my DD will be 21 this Sunday and we will be traveling about 3 hours to go to church and eat with her.

The snow sounds beautiful! I hope you have a pleasant time making the bird feeder, and that it gets lots of visitors. I love feeding the birds, but we don't get anything as colourful as that over here; mostly sparrows and dunnocks.

STAY WARM! The high for Thursday is supposed to be in the single digits - don't know if we'll get out for gym that day.

I'm so glad you have some snow. Hope your boys have a blast with it! You keep warm. I saw the temps are going to be in the negatives tomorrow night.
