~ Simple Solutions Of Feminine Dressing ~

Acme Ultra Clothes Hanger by Chariklia Zarris

Growing up I was a TomBoy to the core, but now that I am in my early 30's I have found the desire to want to be more feminine. Not just in appearance but outlook on life as well. I know for certain this will not happen over night nor will it change all aspects of my life. I know there is a very great debate in blog land among the women on weather or not dresses and skirts are the only way to being feminine and modest.  All I will say about the topic is this, I DO NOT wear just Dresses/skirts or just Pants, I DO BOTH.  Neither one of  those types of clothing  is going to send me to HELL because if entering into Heaven was based upon attire then we all would be in trouble. My husband still enjoys me wearing pants so being dresses only is not an option to me if I want to "honor" my spouse in his wishes.  What is important is to make sure all attire is worn for the glory of God  and not some selfish ambition ( even modesty can be a selfish one, if looked at with a "look at me I am more holier than thou because I wear modest clothes"), please know this doesnt say as though slutty clothes are the way to go when its not.

Because some how I have made this post a topic on modest attire, allow me to  go ahead and give you a few tips on what you can look for when it comes to picking out feminine clothes whatever your choice in style is.

1: Make sure your undergarments match in the colours of your clothes so it wont revel what you got underneith.

2: If you are a bit over weight, DO NOT wear clothes that are too small for you, plenty of men and women do not like to see what I have heard as being called the Mushroom top( ya know when your bottom half of your clothes are so tight your stuff puffs up at the top and all your skin shows). This is not attractive and gives off the appearance of sloppiness.

3: When looking for outfits make sure you buy items that will flatter your figure( whatever it may be). For instance if you are long legs but short torso(like me)  when buying a top I would look for one which was long enough to gently rest below my hips to help give off the appearance of even leg to torso ratio. Because I have heavy arms the sleeve length would need to be long or 3/4 sleeve as anything shorter would have my arms appear even more heavier.

4: Stock up on items that can take you from day to evening with few changes.

5: If you opt to be wearing skirts or dresses find slips or pantaloons that will give you that added protection of not revealing whats underneith ( and in case its a windy day)

6: Got kids, look for items of clothing that are easy wash like polo shirts ( they are pretty good about being easy to get stains off too)

Just a few tips here to help you along the way of dressing, hope they help in some sort of way, I am sure I will have more to say on the topic in the days to come as the season of Summer is about over and Fall is around the corner and dressing for the appropriate weather will be in order. Until then I wish you a wonderful day.
